The Prairie Heritage Beef Producers are thrilled that Christoph and Erika Weder's family and their Spirit View Ranch were chosen as the Outstanding Young Farmer of Alberta for 2006. The Outstanding Young Farmers of Canada program looks for leaders in agriculture who are under 40 years old and have shown exemplatory environmental stewardship, innovative business management and obtain their primary income from agriculture. Christoph and Erika will now go on to represent Alberta and the Northwest Territories at the national level in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the end of November.
